FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS A ZOMBIE WALK?

It's basically what zombies do best. Besides eating brains, they lurch, shamble and drag hinged limbs down the street.

WHY ARE WE DRESSING LIKE ZOMBIES?

What other monsters have such unity as a mass in death?! Plus it’s just fun. Oh and we'll be collecting non perishable food goods for the food bank.

MUST I COME AS A ZOMBIE?

All walkers should be attired in the dress of the undead. Spectators are also welcome at Grass Park but must not join the zombies on their walk.

CAN A GROUP JOIN IN?

Absolutely.  Groups of Zombies are called Krewes and we welcome groups to join in - get your colleagues, friends or teammates together and come as a Krewe!

WHAT IS A ZOMBIE WALK LIKE? CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN?

Check out videos & photos from the Toronto or Vancouver Zombie Walks. Viewing them will give you a good idea of what a walk is like and will help you decide if you feel it is appropriate for your children to participate in. There tends to be a lot of blood and gore associated with Zombies so be forewarned.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE?

The event is free but we are asking everyone to bring a donation of at least two non-perishable food items for the food bank.
